JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
Great
use of a different setting.
Probably
meant more as a portrait, this image seemed to capture
not only the essence of the subject, but the great mood
of the celebration. The party is having a wonderful
time, and the idea to frame the portrait under the sign
was brilliant! Nice nice job.

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
A
funny alternate to the classic horse and buggy. The
balance of the composition and the faces on the bridesmaids
make this photo.
Hilarious!!
What a funny situation. Loved her expression. wins award
for stinkiest wedding picture ever..

SIXTH
PLACE - Chris Parker / Michigan

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
A
setup with the kiss in the vintage car rearview
mirror but well done. It knows it doesnt
need to show everything.
When
it comes to different ways to say transportation,
the photographer hit a home run. Combining a hint
of the steering wheel with the chrome and metal
of the vintage auto and topping it all by capturing
the kiss in the mirror is just brilliant. Not
just great, but brilliant. A wonderful image.

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
Nice
candid shot- party seems at ease and totally unaware of
the photographer.

SEVENTH
PLACE (tie) - Gino Lucadamo / Arizona

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
A
great moment. The motion of the car speeding away to an
undisclosed honeymoon with just a hint of the hand waving
goodbye adding to the mystery. It's got energy and it's
got class. It's a very strong image.

NINTH
PLACE - Allegra Gilbert / Virginia

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
Another
wave, but equally strong. The panning of the ride-away
makes for fun and great smiles while giving the image
a sense of place with style.

A
dreamy, fleeting moment as the bride emerges from the
car.
