Wedding
Photography - Humor:
FIRST
PLACE - Eric Francis / Nebraska

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
Great
behind the scenes moment between the bride and a bridesmaid. While
its funny to look at it also portrays any brides desire
to look her best on the day of the wedding.
This image had a nice expression from the bride. This works as
a nice unusual pre-wedding photo.
SECOND
PLACE - Joe Milton / Oregon

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
A
very funny picture with the bride looking on in bewilderment at
the antics of her new husband.
This unusual photograph made the top five because it was different
and unexpected. Losing part of the guys hands hurts this
photograph a little.
THIRD
PLACE - Neil Cowley / New York

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
I
am not totally sure what is happening in this photograph. It could
be that tilt makes it look like the people are reacting to their
wedding cake falling over. Or it may be that they are being overly
cautious with cutting a piece of the cake. For whatever reason,
the faces are hilarious. There is a humorous anxiety going on
in this bizarre image.

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
The
little boys incidental touch, or maybe not incidental touch
adds a twisted humor to an otherwise routine hug shot.
5
- Bill McCullough / Texas

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
Boys
and their toys.
6
- David Beckstead / Arizona

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
The
girls over the top expression is great. The image seems
candid, but it is a little one-dimensional. In a perfect world,
it would have been nice to see what she is reacting to.
6
- David Murray / Maine

JUDGE'S
COMMENTS:
What was set forth to be a picturesque scene of a loving new couple
was not what happened when the bride found out how cold the water
was. The bride has a telling expression and good work on the part
of the photographer to shoot the photo even though the scene did
not play out like he or she had imagined it to.
